And then there’s the OpenCorporates data-as-a-service (DaaS) platform.

Offering the largest open database of companies in the world, the platform dynamically captures and curates the records of over 200 million companies from 140 jurisdictions. This openly available information is the foundation to sourcing, risk, compliance, and investigations processes for organisations around the world — large and small, public and private.

This is where you come in

As part of OpenCorporates’ Marketing team, you will be responsible for the positioning, go-to-market strategy, sales enablement, and ongoing demand for the OpenCorporates platform and data products.

You will collaborate with Product, Sales and Marketing to advance the platform, working on strategy and execution for our self-service and enterprise offerings, and product-led growth (PLG).

In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Create and orchestrate launch plans that bring tailored product propositions to new and existing customers using relevant and effective channels and communications

  • Craft and execute differentiated and world-class positioning and messaging for our offerings

  • Work with Product and other functions to execute best-practice PLG-based customer acquisition

  • Work with product and go-to-market leadership to present and gain buy-in for product launches, packaging, and timing

  • Enable prospects, Sales and technology partners with world-class internal and external content — demos, decks, comparisons, data insights — that deliver low-friction buyer journeys

  • Develop a competitive-information framework that adds material value to our planning and sales efforts

We are looking for people who:

  • Have at least 5 years experience (or equivalent) as a product marketer

  • At least 3 years experience working for businesses supplying company data at scale

  • Have a track record of creating and executing innovative, impactful go-to-market tactics

  • Have successfully delivered product-led growth strategies — or can demonstrate success in the essential skills to do so

  • Are skilled storytellers able to develop strong product narratives for various personas

  • Can interpret usage data or market research to make decisions

  • Excel at collaborating across teams to achieve shared goals

  • Can manage complexity well and are adaptable to change

  • Have a positive mindset and high personal accountability
